If you ever get the chance to really have a conversation with Georges Laraque…get him to start talking about fighting in hockey. It was rather funny how worked up he gets on the subject matter. About the only thing that could appease the big guy was getting him to stop a second, notice this petite woman standing about 2 feet below his head, and talk to him about something else he’s passionate about and that’s his charity work.
Many people may call him a goon, but he’s fighting to make fighting in hockey clean and safe. You’ll have to read the article to understand what advocates to keep fighting in hockey really think about the possible ban and why it shouldn’t happen.
