The New Jersey Devils announced today that they signed Yann Danis (formerly of the New York Islanders). Danis did an amazing job last season shutting out the Devils at Nassau Coliseum last February. Bringing Danis on is a great addition for the Devils. He will very likely be Brodeur’s new backup.
This leaves me to ask what will happen to Kevin Weekes. I hope his agent called him before he hopped on the boat (seriously, he’s hanging out on a boat today…I am way jealous…I LOVE BOATS).
Wherever Weekesie goes, he’ll always have a loyal fan here in the NYC area.
